XLIFF 2.0 has been accepted as an OASIS standard (see July belwo).

The final ballot to vote the XML Localisation Interchange File Format (XLIFF) v2.0 as an OASIS Standard is now open and will close on Aug 5th, 2014. The live page is here: https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/ballot.php?id=2651.
If you work for an OASIS organizational member or have contact with one, it would help if you bring this ballot to the attention of its primary representative. Simply spreading the word can also help the standardization process.

An exceptional program for the W3C MultilingualWeb Workshop in Madrid has been just published.
XLIFF 2.0 (XML Localisation Interchange File Format) is published as official OASIS Committee Specification.
The new XLIFF standard will be presented and discussed at the forthcoming 5th International XLIFF Symposium as part of FEISGILTT that is co-located with Localization World in Dublin, June 3-4 2014 (respecively June 4-6, 2014 for Localization World).
